Brother Daniel is Survey 1851 ID.20151 . Morris the son of brother Mark is Survey 1851 ID.1252, “lodging with Maurice Lazarus (ID 1251) in the 1851 census. The census gives his birthplace as ‘France’, but he is here taken to be the Morriis Levy (a brother of ID 1021) who was born in – nearby – Jersey. (needs confirming). The Morris Levy who was Mark Levy and Mary Lambert’s son was involved with another brother, Samuel, in an incident in the Maori Wars in New Zealand, in which they together rescued a missionary whose colleague had already been murdered (source, Illustrated London News).”
