Esther’s husband Bethel Jacobs (1812-69 Kingston-Upon-Hull) was the son of Israel Jacobs and Mrs Sarah Barnett. Bethel Jacobs married Esther in 1835 (Margaret Mculloch) Bethel helped found the The Hull School of Art.
