Notes Trs. From the Hebrew by Josh Schabracq. See GSBUR 002/10, called Lipman Solomon and his father Solomon Pollak from Hamburg. Is he brother of Meir Lefman Polack, the Secretary of the Great Synagogue in 1752. (Roth, History ch*****). This would then mean that “Moses of Blessed memory was Meir Lefman Polack! See also the will of his brother in law Samuel David. d 1791 (Prob 11/1204).
