Notes Catherine Lazarus is a wine and spirit merchant and coal dealer in partnership with brothers Edward and Lawrence. One of the probable brothers of Joseph Lazarus b. Jacob (d. 1850) was Edward Lazarus who in 1828 married Catherine Davis (GSM 255/46). Catherine was the daughter of David Davis b. Moshe Aharon and Elizabeth Lazarus b. Jacob from Worms who married in 1809 (GSM 088/44). This must be Jacob the brother of Moses Rochford.
