Australian marriage collection

We have added a further 50 records to our Australian marriage collection bringing the total to 450.

This is a very important source of information for researchers of Jewish genealogy as many of the individuals originated in UK and then moved to Australia.

As always we recommend you purchase or view the original records and where notes have been provided these are purely notes and should also be checked.

These extracts were prepared, and generously contributed, by David Alexander

Another Jewish marriage for the list, although only the bride was Jewish: my ancestor Esther Spencer (formerly Salamon) married by banns Joseph Bigge at St Phillips, Sydney on 25 Apr 1822. Ref #’s: V18222920 3B/1822 & V1822210 8/1822 from the NSW BDM site.
