They are my great aunt Leah Goldblat nee Servian, also known as Leah Max, died 1894 aged 26 in Mold, North Wales (daughter of Joseph and Ada Servian buried in Rice Lane); Leah’s husband’s previous wife Fanny Goldblat nee Unger, died in childbirth aged 17 in 1884 with her baby Rebecca; and my great grand aunt Hannah or Annie Silverman nee Sanders (Silverman name changed from Servian in 1879) who died in 1895. Would welcome any info on their last resting places.

Thanks for your comments. However, as both spellings already appear in the table we do not feel a change is needed. The original list was provided to us, we understand it was taken from readings of the tombstones visible at the time it was created. Additional notes and entries have been added as detailed in the articles on this site.

Was looking at information regardin Leah Lipkin (nee Hesselberg), and saw the name Liprin. This is definately not the correct surname. Leah was my great grandmother, married to Robert Lipkin. Date of death was March 4th, 1916
Please update accordingly and acknowledge
Thanks
Kathryn

See http://www.iajgsjewishcemeteryproject.org/england/liverpool.html

A copy of the results from the 1979 survey is held by Liverpool Records Office and I looked at these a few years ago to see what the inscription on my great grandfather’s stone said. I also photographed the list and then typed it out so that it is searchable. From that I can tell you (if you didn’t already know!) that Henry Davis is in plot V13.

If you have information on Henry’s inscription you might consider sending them to http://www.cemeteryscribes.com/showmap.php?cemeteryID=135&tree=Cemeteries
