Son George Dudfield was tried at the Old Bailey in 1820 (t18200517-68) for coining, not guilty. A George Dudfield was transported to Tasmania in 1825 on the ship Medina (Archives Office, Tasmania, database 20258). This George was frequently in trouble, eg. in 1838, R. v.
