He was born in Germany (1721-1789) Elected parnas in the synagogue six times. His wife was the daughter of Solomon Myers and granddaughter of Myer Myers. Following the date of will 9 other children were born and 1 died in infancy totalling 17 children in all. He was naturalised and became a freeman of New York 1750.
