BBC Living History Series
SynagogueScribes was contacted today by the makers of a new series. They want to find participants to take part in this experiment where modern day people will live for 3 weeks as the East End of London Victorians did in 1870. They are particularly looking for people with Jewish ancestry. The reason for this would be to explore and learn how Jewish citizens have settled in the UK and how they lived in the Victorian period.
