In his will He left bequests to his two servants. However. Rebecca Manoel and Jane Shorter appeared and swore oath that they released and acquitted Joann Dias widow from all such legacy devised in the will by Jacob Dias. The various statements by his servants and wife regarding the will raise issues about the clarity of his thinking. However. they all swore that he was fully aware of what he was saying when he made his will. In his will he asks to be buried in the Jews burial ground Mile End. He also states that if he can’t access his Marriage Settlement then he will only bequest what is his own property
