Burial ground Hambro Synagogue a consecrating of the monument erected to Abraham E Levy paid for from subscriptions by his Jewish and Christian friends-1868GRO Death Index age 53 Abraham Levy Dec qtr 1867 Whitechapel 1c 293 (Died 4 December 1867)The family are recorded in the 1841 and subsequent census records. From 1851they are living at 127 Leman Street Whitechapel where Abraham is a tobacconist and later cigar manufacturer. Rachel and her sons were fined 20 shillings and costs.
