This is probably Dinah Benjamin (1822-1899) married John Aaron (Birmingham Aaron family). They lived in London and Colmore Row, Birmingham see Survey 1851, ID. I6951. 2. Benjamin Sarah, b. 1831, London Middx . This is probably Sarah who married Phineas van Norden 3. Benjamin Julia [Gitel b Joel], b. 1839, Camberwell, Surrey, d. 20 May 1910, Cape Town, South Africa. Married A.F. Ornstein. After the death of Joel Frances (b. 1804) re-married ‘Shown as a widow in the 1851 census. Her second husband, who died c.1838-40 (Will), had previously been married to one Rachael Levy, and had a daughter (born Kent c1813) by her. He was a brother of ID I8062. The 1841 census has all Frances’ daughters born in Kent, whereas the 1851 census has all except the youngest – who is recorded as having been born in Camberwell – born in Middlesex. The 1841 census appears to show her father at an address in nearby Greenwich, along with her son George.’ Survey 1851, ID. I6950.
