Esther’s husband Bethel Jacobs (1812-69 Kingston-Upon-Hull) was the son of Israel Jacobs and Mrs Sarah Barnett. Bethel Jacobs married Esther in 1835 (Margaret Mculloch) Bethel helped found the The Hull School of Art. One of their daughters married Elim D’Avigdor and their son Osmond d’Avigdor Goldsmid, inherited the Goldsmid estates on the death of Sir Julian Goldsmid. http://www.jewishencyclopedia.
